Thanks for visiting my site. I am an Associate Professor of English at The City University of New York, Lehman College and The Graduate Center. For ten years I was also a coordinator for The Writing Across the Curriculum program. I'm now writing a book, The Complexity of Beginners, about a sabbatical year spent as a student of first-year composition. Work from this book is sampled below and on my full blog. See about for more information on my teaching, research, professional development work and higher education advocacy.
